Design files are kept for about 30 days after your order is finished, then may be deleted.
Reordering a past design? It's treated as a brand-new custom order, and we can't guarantee an exact match.
Send photos and approximate measurements of your original piece so we can get as close as possible.
Material costs change over time, so a past price isn't guaranteed on a new order.

Custom Orders & Reorders Policy

Handmade, one at a time

Every Bunkhouse Studio piece is cut, layered, and finished by hand in our Colorado shop — nothing is mass-produced. Small variations in color, grain, and finish are part of the charm, and no two pieces are perfectly identical.

Sizing is approximate

Listed dimensions, and any size you request in a custom order, are approximate. Final size can shift slightly based on the design, layout, and materials used to build your piece.

Design files & retention

Once your custom order is complete, we keep your design file on hand for about 30 days in case you'd like to reorder or make a quick tweak. After that window, files may be deleted and are not guaranteed to be available.

Reorders are new custom orders

If you loved a piece and want another one down the road, we're happy to help — but a reorder is treated as a brand-new custom order, not a reprint of the original. If your design file is no longer on hand, we'll rebuild it from scratch based on what you can tell us.

We can't guarantee an exact match

Because every piece is handmade, we cannot guarantee that a reorder will be an exact duplicate of a previous order, even when we're working from the same photos or file. Wood grain, layering, paint, and lighting can all vary slightly between builds.

What we need from you for a reorder

To get as close as possible to your original piece, please send us clear photos of it along with approximate dimensions. The more detail you can share, the better we can match the look and feel.

Pricing can change

Material and supply costs change over time, so pricing from a previous order is not guaranteed on a future order — including reorders and near-duplicates of past designs.

How custom pricing works

Custom pricing is based on the full scope of the work — design complexity, materials, personalization, machine time, assembly, and finishing — not on dimensions alone. Two pieces of a similar size can be priced differently depending on what goes into making them.

Differences in finished size

Because handmade pieces can vary slightly in their finished dimensions, a small difference in size does not automatically qualify an order for a discount or adjustment.

Reporting a problem

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If there's damage, an error in personalization, or another significant issue, contact us within 1 day of delivery so we can make it right.
